Bilge Demirkoz, a Turkish physicist, is an expert in experimental astro-particle physics and space radiation. As a Principal Investigator, Bilge has led groundbreaking projects, including establishing Turkey's first radiation environment test facility for space and particle physics research. Their research involves analyzing cosmic-ray flux data from the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer for various purposes, such as dark matter annihilation signal searches. Bilge's work also encompasses inclusive jet cross-section analysis with the ATLAS detector at CERN, where they serve as an ATLAS Trigger Expert, ensuring a robust trigger menu for physics studies. Moreover, Bilge is a member of esteemed scientific organizations like the Global Young Academy and the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
