Inspired by her grandmother’s folktales and rooted in Kenya’s vibrant traditions, Kasiva has carved a path through the male-dominated world of drumming with unshakable spirit and signature flair. Her percussive storytelling fuses traditional African rhythms with modern genres, creating a sonic experience that is both ancestral and forward-thinking. She is the founder of MOTRAMUSIC, an all female percussion grassroots project that teaches and encourages women to be bold in telling their stories using their instruments of choice.
