Dr. Miho Janvier is a solar and space physicist at the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC, NL), specializing in solar flares, solar storms, and their impact on planetary environments. She is actively involved in the Solar Orbiter mission, collaborating with international space agencies to analyze data and develop 3D models of solar eruptions. Dr. Janvier's expertise extends to coordinating observation campaigns, enhancing space weather prediction, and understanding the Sun's influence on human societies. Beyond her research, she is dedicated to science communication, leading projects that merge astrophysics with virtual reality to engage a wider audience. Dr. Janvier's innovative work has earned her recognition as a WIREDUK Innovation Fellow and a TED Fellow, inspiring others, especially women of color, to pursue careers in STEM fields.
