Mobile Antakshari - Interactive Mobile Music

Mobile Antakshari is the first ever multilingual speech recognition technology mobile game that is based on the classic Indian music game of Antakshari, where two or more players or teams sing songs which start with last consonant letter of the song sung by previous player or team. Given the popularity that Antakshari enjoys even today across ages and geographies, Mobile Antakshari is first of its kind service that pits your musical wits against your mobile. Digital Empowerment Foundation along with Department of Information Technology and Govt.of India recognized Mobile Antakshari (from Hexolabs) with mBillionth Award South Asia 2010 under m-entertainment category. NASSCOM EMERGE Forum & IAMAI have selected Mobile Antakshari as one of the winner of NASSCOM EMERGE AppFame Contest under the entertainment category. Recently, Mobile Antakshari made it to the top slots for the best mobile music service in IAMAI's India Digital Awards 2012.

Biography

Founder and CEO of Hexolabs Interactive, a mobile technology company with a prime focus on innovating Value added services for emerging markets.

He is leading an interdisciplinary research team that develops grounded VAS solutions around health care, governance and entertainment information services for Rural India.

Raja was conferred the 'TED Fellowship 2009' for his accomplishments in Mobile VAS for emerging markets, an international fellowship program for young world-changers and trailblazers who have shown exceptional accomplishment in their respective domains.

In 2010, Raja was conferred "NIXI fellowship" constituted by Department of Information Technology, India and National Internet Exchange of India. NIXI fellowship grooms the next generation leaders in the field of internet technology, policy and business to enlarge Indian presence in Internet governance forums.

Raja is a regular speaker and panelist at various industry forums and conferences on - Telecom, Mobile VAS and Design.
