Bel Pesce is a passionate Brazilian entrepreneur in love with business and technology. Over the past few years, she has tackled a variety of needs ranging from better cell phone coverage in Africa to more effective task management tools. In her previous job, Bel helped make high quality video available across a wide range of devices. She is now focusing her energies on Lemon (www.lemon.com), a digital wallet that helps you spend smarter. With Lemon, you can turn your smartphone into a digital wallet that organizes and stores your credit cards, receipts, coupons and more.

Bel received degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics and Sloan School of Management. In addition to having started a number of various projects, Bel has worked at MIT, Microsoft, Google as well as Deutsche Bank. She is also a TED Fellow and a Sandboxer.

Bel strongly advocates that anything is possible if you put your heart and mind into your dreams. She is the author of 'A Menina do Vale', a book about how entrepreneurship can change your life. The e-book was published in May 2012 and has already been downloaded over a million times in Brazil. The printed version was published in August 2012 and went straight to the top of the bestsellers chart in Brazil.
